Alcohol aside... i really thought after all the monologue that Waka would say she gave up not "lets do our best".
I sincerely just want her to move and be happy even tho might be a useful pressure when the times comes for Sakura to make a proper move.
But Waka abruptly changed from admiration to love for no particular reason.
