Because finding slaves is more easier.
How would you hire a kid (or anyone) to model, in a situation were advertising and education isn't that high? While also having to worry about other stuff, including privacy and protection of information.

And it's not like modeling is seen as a profession in this kind-off societal setting.
I mean, if you see a lot of older paintings (before modeling was a profession), you would see that most of the female models in them were based on prostitutes (not talking about men, because usually common men didn't model unlike women).

While I understand humanity always defaults to various concepts of slavery (the concept is telling something physically or verbally what to do and expecting it to do it) and I don't want slavery only to be present in retelling stories of sexual violence or good owners but the whole "This is good slavery" is uh, no. From a guy who can separate the art from the artist and take a story from what it is, I'm kind of tired of it.
