I don't think so. He is just a model and not being drawn as himself. Such as the times when the others where healed. But who knows, his art powers aren't really explained.

Jist a WAG, but think the magic works on intent. Just like how he drew the kid's house into existence this chapter. Now that the MC knows, he can somewhat control what becomes magically altered by his paintings.

If the kids back scars are something he'll want healed. I wouldnt be surprised if he made them into wings instead of a healed back somehow. If we get a side arc of them wanting to fly and the pegasi dont show up, they're for sure going to become real angels

How do you know he hasn't drawn any cat girls? True there isn't a dozen lolis running around with tails and ears, but that in no way means his portfolio isn't half filled with anthropomorphic animals frolicking around forested glades.

He has been working hard to contain his power which was like 3 arcs ago soon im guessing due to him having art hung about he has gotten better control.

There is also the notion of "completion".
As long as MC doesn't consider a painting as "completed", it won't become reality.
That's why MC makes most of his Works as slightly incomplete (like leaving a stroke partially done or a line half drawn or a partial shading).

It's shown in a recent chapter how the MC makes some paint with his magic. In the scene he nearly uses his magical ability if front of some kids he hasn't shared his secret with. After realizing what he's done, he monologues that he was glad he didn't apply mana to the canvas.

To me that implies its more about intent then completeness. Even more to the point, I remember there being an early chapter where the MC was able to use his magic on half drawn image at a higher mana cost.
