I don't think I will be continuing this one. After reading a few chapters in the WN, it feels like the author just wants me to get angry and frustrated. For example
There's a chapter where the unicorns bring him to a pair of poachers that were the middle of dismembering a wing from a unicorn. It was graphic and brutal. Descriptions of blood, screaming, and sadistic poachers. He then proceeds to do t the typical, stupid, and weak isekai mc thing. Draw them tied up, leave, heal the unicorns and proceed to faint. The poachers catch up with him, and being the mc of a typical isekai, he can't fucking move becuase he's too weak after healing the unicorns. If his friend didn't come in the nick of time, he would have been dead. What do the poachers get? Jail time. That's it.
Another scene is where they get captured by the black market as revenge. Yada yada, sadism, brutal shit happens. Does the author write a gory retribution scene? No. Because the pussy ass mc fainted again. He could have written what happened while mc was asleep for 10 days, but just dismissed it. Fuck this novel, fuck this mc, and fuck this author.

I don't expect much from the mc. My comment was just written out of frustration. Now that I have cooled down I realized that I was just too blood thirsty. I just can't accept that the author easily writes a chapter that graphic and brutal against the mc's friends but not against his enemies 😮‍💨. I was looking for a semblance of retribution, not just jail time.

After reading that certain chapter with the poachers, its just too graphic and bloody. I don't think that was justified by just jail time. Animal Poachers and their clients, irl or not should have their limbs cut off one by one with a rusty saw, and salted, then burned alive in a public place.

Then Togo gets kidnapped but outsmarts kidnappers using his drawing magic, while simultaneously helping an emotionally abused young girl runaway. He summons more fantasy creatures before going to the king's landing.

I know right. Sometimes the source material is not better than the adaptations, but you just can't help but love the first you read/watched. I'm gonna try to read this without bias and nitpicking. After reading my WN favorites like Death Mage, Death March, and Reincarnated as a Spider. I learned that good manga/LN adaptations are possible.
