I was laughing for about 3 minutes straight, with the whole situation of Karen's mother running after her husband with the knife. It seems like everyone in this manga has mom/dad issues, but it's expected (Yay Japan!). I think the story of these two bitter people won't end well, but i just hope nothing bad happens to Yui...they've already peed on the girl, leave her alone!~

The wife slipping and falling on the condom made me laugh like it was a slipped-on-a-banana-peel gag. What a fail.
I mean, she didn't ruin the life of the family next door, she only ruined Karen's and her mother's life, who both kinda deserved it.
The dad went from a husband married to a gold digger that ignored him, to one in a relationship with a woman who at least acts as if she were a loving wife. Meanwhile, the brother went from being the black ship of his family, to a respectable older brother that at least believes is loved by her new mother. Both of them are in a better position than before.

I wonder how much a detective would cost, half expect the mom to also sleep with him or so as 'payment' lol (modern times aside i'd think detective agencies would wanna take money versus card for no paper trail or so but who knows , be interesting to see this author do some kinda spinoff mystery series)
Savior complex aside , husbands in these kinda series are never 'good' or just drawn to temptation
I also half-expected Saeko to have planted a camera somehow and 'leak' that vid as well (tho based on the volume cover we know they get kidnapped by her at some point i imagine if not handed over to some other suspicious/thuggy sleazy guys she's been with in the past)

Anyways, if she does get a private investigator, it would be fun if it was a boy the mom knew growing up, that the investigator would use that angle to right up walk up and investigate in-person, and get introduced as "a boy whose like a brother to me! Like how we've all become a family without blood ties, I'd like you to think of him as your uncle!" and him slowly actually becoming that uncle before reporting to Neighbor that CrazyMom is a totally normal loving person, and reverse-reporting the investigation to his new "family" to further drive wedges.

well we know karens stayed home from school, and even with the brother, it's still the dads office as opposed to the living room/kitchen trash/he was studying for uni so i don't think whatever he was at before would've given him one at this age
wouldn't put it past her to seduce the local detectives too like she did with that mover

the real game plan would be to isolate the daughter, make it so that she thinks her mom is absoloutly crazy then swoop in on the daughter to play clean up, crack her and now crazy moms daughter has a populer friend wrecked with guilt thats gonna be constently playing kiss ass to her
