A manga that's better than its contemporaries and gets even better with every chapter. Doesn't linger too much on the betrayal and doesn't treat the new world like a sandbox. Takeru is one of the most deserving examples of a protagonist being overpowered you could find in this shitty genre.

i like this a bit
its sad that the cliche OP MC wants to be lowkey but slips up just enough to get attention from all the wrong sorts of people
but the fact for 14 chapters he's consistently felt uncomfortable living as someone else is what i figured would be NORMAL
its crazy with so many subversive themes and jokes being beaten over the head and milked to the point blood and puss comes out by insert isekai webtoon manhua you can think of yet we almost never get a character like this.
too often these self insert japanese freaks take over the bodies of others and have no qualms sneaking their way into the body's family household, oggling their mother, flirting with their childhood friends etc etc (in the worst instances their OG age is at least double, a pedo's fantasy ig)
its actually gross if you ever think about it for more than a minute
-some authors think that by doing a wink and a nod by being self aware its water under the bridge, hardly.

so far the family doesn't suspect much and normally that'd be an issue, cuz you'd expect family to notice if you did a 180, but given the context its understandable.

the bar is so low that, ignoring the art, this could be a 7/10 but too much generic shit IS going

still i imagine the real Takeru will never come back and this Takeru will learn to love himself a bit more and perhaps become comfortable in this body.

It's pretty good. Some comments mention there's "no reason" to be a pacifist. Id say the reason he gave is good enough. There's no guarantee that the world will continue to treat him a hero if he opens up, especially considering how his past life went.

Furthermore he remains conscious of the fact that he's in another person's body, which adds another layer of caution since he actually cares to find a way to give the body back. Granted this plot thread feels less remembered in favor of the action packed arcs, but it does bring it up now and again.

I've read up till just before the meeting with the hero possession person, still curious how that's gonna go really.

kind of enjoying it, I'd rate it a 7 and a half out of 10. would be an 8 but it's kind of rushing the story a little imo.

I just read up to chapter 31, ratings wise, I give it a 6 out of 10, not good enough to recommend, but it does kill time. Right now in the story, it looks to be setting up a pseudo harem in the white knight style of "girl appears, is stated by characters to be strong, situation happens, MC flexes strength, girl then pines for MC, ad infinum".

The translation is good, I just see this series as a cash grab because it's very "by the numbers", and every chapter is just calling out the next trope to be used
