I've read a lot of slop and I don't know why this is getting a lot of hate. It's not that bad. Some of the plot points are very generic but I want to see how it ends. The MC being in another person's body and finding ways to give it back is interesting to me. I mean that's the only reason why I keep reading but yeah it's not that bad.

I wonder why takeru (not MC) side to the demon, is it because the past memory the MC had made takeru got emotional and his soul becoming one with the MC body also it works with the MC and takeru body. And where's edelweiss?

It's actually decent. Sure you can criticize, but the critism given here are either exaggerated or stupid. First and foremost, this is hardly a "copy paste" of solo leveling. In fact, solo leveling is kinda mid too, I'm a long term follower of that title and it only got popular due to art. It's also not your typical "reincarnated/transferred to a body" where the mc acts all dense and annoyed by people or having a deadpan expression. What I like as well is that the world building is like modern world with magic. Most mangas would just straight up isekai. It's actually a little refreshing but things feel rushed. Considering the way female characters are introduced, it may have that "multiple girls liking mc" kind of vibe, but if you actually realize it, it doesn't seem likely to happen. Why? Well, it's not his body and we can see the mc is unsure of the thing regarding his relationship with his friends and his identity, there is also the fact that this isn't your typical magic world kind of shit so polygamy may not even be a thing and the mc already seems to have someone he is looking for.

the mc doesn't even make me interest in story since he's like depressed 18 yo child (he got new body and new life but still can't move on till latest chapter)
