100000000% that knight is her the Saintess
:O
One of these two is the most likely outcome yeahEither that, or its his old body 🤔
But do we use They/Them/That to refer to a singular entity in modern day English outside LGBT garbage? No we don't. If you want to refer to something singular you'd use it.Even in English it's not "nonbinary shit". We can refer to people by they/them/that in the singular just fine, and have for centuries in English, within context. "That bastard" = "that demon king", for example. The rest are similar.
Yes, we do. In fact, it was in use for centuries before, and only in about the 1960s did it get scrubbed from dictionaries because of lexicographers deciding that it wasn't "proper", just long enough that we got two generations mostly ignorant of its use as such before it made an unfortunate widespread comeback with a rider atop it, such that many perceive it as only being ridden by that rider, rather than worthy on its own.But do we use They/Them/That to refer to a singular entity in modern day English outside LGBT garbage? Nonbinary nonsense (which is related but separate from LGBT nonsense) simply jumped on the back of the previous usage all hackneyed and tried to shove it down everyone's throats, so I don't blame you for thinking that's where it comes from, but it doesn't. Read older books, and you'll see those words used that way much more often, I assure you.We use those terms to refer to groups or quick reference to a previous point. Only time in modern English it's used nowadays outside those two usages is LGBT nonsense. The whole translation at that panel specifically is just bad.

What the fuck is with this nonbinary bullshit? If she's referring to demons in general, that's a little misleading in words.
they are not arguing about the third third text bubble but the second one.I hope you both realize "them" in this case refers to "the demons"?
Never even could fathom an association to the thing you stated..

Thanks for the TLs; yeah, what's under the mask is clearly going to be important.
But why would she hide her identity from the MC? 🤔yeah, i'm leaning on the knight being the saintess. it makes more sense-- the saintess losing loyalty to her country b/c it executed her hero, so she aligns with the demons in the end.
i do think it would be kinda cool if it was other takeru (takkun) especially since this chapter just brought up that our takeru hopes they could've been friends WHILE HE WAS FIGHTING THE DARK KNIGHT!!! it's just such strong potential foreshadowing that it almost HAS to be that now in my mind.
I believe I remember hearing that Shakespeare has quite a bit of singular they/them usage.Yes, we do.
