MangaDex is a respected aggregator for the manga, and scanlators should not expect monetary gains for their translations. NASS is immediately one of the better groups for providing good quality scans with frequent uploads, without asking for donations to keep them going. The comment section should be clean from any discussion that does not relate to the manga, this includes drama between groups or sniping.

If someone wants to snipe, let them snipe. What harm comes from being given an alternative for a chapter? Especially if no one is gaining anything from having people view their version of the chapter translation. People should also stop replying with apathetic comments that literally say something along the lines of "we don't care", it's flooding the comments section with useless gunk.

Overall, let the comment section stay clean and be thankful for having an alternative chapter translation for a manga.

Though I gotta say, what NASS did was SUPER scummy and they're acting like children. WTF do you mean a 15-year-old doesn't know what porn or NSFW is, and how do you turn on someone that quickly. Even if Princess was slow at what they were doing, you just tell them that they're not fit for what it is they were doing, not pin everyone against them and forcefully kick them out without a chance to explain. Holy crap do I hate the reaction from NASS. Completely trashy reaction.

Nobody care about your proof link, nor there will be many who is going to support you.
The reason is simple, the release is still coming wether they care or not.
Your action spaming people with your drama every release would just make them hate you.
And that make nass happy.

See how that unproductive to you?

Dude while I can see you're frustrated, none of us really care all that much about scan group dramas as long as we are getting our high quality chapters and they aren't beating children/killing kittens. So will I stop reading chapters by NASS? No.

Edit (after reading through the link): The way I see it, everyone kinda overreacted. Princess wasn't bullying and Akai wasn't being disrespected. But you were all acting kinda immature, which is fine if you guys were close friends, but guess not? If you're Princess (which is kinda weird since from the msgs you didn't seem to care all that much) I say let it go, join another group if you like scanlating and find a better group of friends. If you aren't and are doing this on their behalf, either stop or state otherwise cuz you're just making them look bad. I dont like this NASS drama but because I got time, I checked those screenshots. I didn't see any bullying from the princess person???I didn't even see the importance of that senseless group conversation at first, except I got a little 😑 face about playing so innocent to the point of not knowing what gore/nsfw is. Person is on discord, she ought to know how to use google lol (or maybe she was playing a joke just to keep the conversation going, who knows)

After Nass got sniped the first time, akai said on Nass’s fan server that the person who did this was depressed. And that the person only did it because they were depressed. Some may not agree with what I say next but whatever man. Topics regarding mental illnesses are highly stigmatized and I don’t think using someone’s mental state becomes a valid explanation for them to snipe

Lets all be adults okay? It’s like having a shitty attitude but hey his/her work is extremely good, consistent and high quality, so who cares? Not all things would go the way you want it to when mingling or working with others. So suck it up and grow up. Yeah, you are hurt and others might find the other parties actions trashy but what? Do you want people to gather around and form a circle around the both of you? PLEASE. Even a kid knows that not all things can go your way. So the best thing to do here is suck it up and try creating a scanlation or translation group with amazing quality and OTHER works and that group would be as good or as something better that can rival the other. Sniping them off of their chapters/works won’t earn you brownie points. Rather than asking people to take sides and going “aww,” Personally I don’t care what sort of person or people are behind NASS but their works are amazing and consistent high quality stuff. It’s not like your gonna ask a shoe maker to create you a glass slipper based on his/her attitude, morality or behaviour right? It’s obviously gonna be for THEIR CRAFT. So instead of trying to pour dirty water at them why not create a scanlator group of your own that can rival the amazing craft of the other. Pity parties are sooooo last season y’know. OR BETTER YET WHY NOT TRY TO UNDO THE WHOLE MISUNDERSTANDING IF THERE’S ANY.

ok i read through it all bc im bored and it seems to me it was a miscommunication bc princess didn't like being ganged up on (which looks like they were joking but i can see it being kind of hurtful) so she said to ban her which prompted akai to be pissed bc it was a joke (although the "no one wants u here" is pretty mean and prob is why princess felt hurt enough to do this (this isn't ok tho ppl work hard on providing good scanlations). as an outsider i can't really tell u what to do but there's hurt feelings on both sides so both sides apologizing sounds like the way to go. i hope everyone is safe and staying inside

I understand where you’re coming from, but I think it’d be smarter to act like your screenshot said by like stepping back since sniping these series seems like a way for you to ineffectively cope with the situation between you and the group. I know you want people to know how you feel, but it seems like both parties should talk it out and be mature. The private drama that’s embedded in the chapter might be too much for people who are only interested in the series.

While the NASS leader's reaction was over the top (someone asked a question, got an answer, inquired further, then her saying stop can easily be seen as playful, especially the way it was said), you can't tag the label of "bully" on someone for no reason. OP's answers weren't out of line, at all. However, going this far with the drama is also unnecessary. It was better to calmly solve it in the dm's like the big girls (or boys) y'all are (apparently)
