Anthologies are story collections. They can be related or totally unconnected. This series, on the other hand, is more of an omnibus serialization with connected characters.

Sayaka x Arisa is the main couple. Arisa is friends with Shizuku who is paired with Sumi who is this new character niece. Perhaps we will get more couples like this.

So, I had to reread because it's been a while, but the niece at the beginning of the chapter is the girl from the previous relationship who wanted to marry Tagumo-san for stealing her first kiss. All the relationships are connected since they know someone, which leads to the next relationship. The manga itself is supposed to be about the daily lives of the women, and if we're lucky, maybe toward the end, they'll have a chapter where everyone is together, showing how they're connected.

They have something to do with each other, though! This is more like that one manga from Mikanuji, Fuzoroi no Renri (Assorted Entanglements) or Canno's Ano Ko ni Kiss to Shirayuri o. You'll see the previous couples again!
