The age gap isn't the issue. The issue is that he knew her when she was in elementary school. There's a difference in meeting someone in their twenties and you being in your thirties than knowing them when they weren't even a teen and you were an adult. There's no way I could do that. That's definitely off-putting.

Why is an adult(I'm assuming they're an adult) writing about an adult being chased around by someone who is ten years younger than him and knew her when she was fucking ten in a romance comic. Why are his coworkers encouraging him, wtf is wrong with these people!

And for those guys talking about their parents with large age gaps heres a question did they meet as adults or did one parent meet the other as a child while the other was a legal adult. Age gaps can work, Gloria and Jay from modern family were couple goals but they met as adults and Gloria was very mature even for her age due to certain circumstances.

yup. my parents have an 18 yr age gap but they met as grown adults. i do find it a little weird but there's a difference between that and having a child grow up chasing after you
