honestly im tired of this op mc isekai thing its making me sick to read it these days please recommend something that mc doesnt get op skill but actually has to train long time .. or its about war strategy emporer thing starting from zero without op power i want good story and character development
more slice of life /family focused so no fighting so far but the main premise of this is that he starts off pretty weak, sickly even, tho idk if he'll suddenly be op magic wise after a 'recovery' tho

i personally give it a 9/10 here only because i don't wanna set expectations too high
but it does smash the current jp isekai stuff to pieces.
id like the jp authors to take note of this and do better, less cookie cutter stuff.

OP asked for no overpowered main characters. I hate Allison. She's disgustingly overpowered. I wouldn't hate her as much if the webcomic was shit, but it's good and she's ruining it for me.

what i, (and the poster too I'm guessing) are looking for, are isekai stories with originality and effort in their storytelling, -ie: konosuba got popular for that reason, instead of getting the self-insert factory standard mary-sue's that are everywhere now.
so here's another unique one: isekai-kuimetsu-no-same(killer shark in another world)
it is by far in the top 10 for brain damaged retarded isekai stories,
its very unique, not a trope goes un-poked, mega-violent, weird.
but you can FEEL THE FUN, the mangaka are having with this one, its like they,re venting out stress of their industry bosses put on them.
i barely know whats happening in this story , but it makes me crack up.
Now, back to K6BD; the MC(Allison), i don't blame you for not liking her, she is the weakest link,
but i feel like you missed the point of her in the story:
its pretty much stated from book.01 (hence no spoiler tag here) that she has been dumped into the middle of a cold war between 7 Mafia/Cartel-like gods, with the equivalent of a nuke bomber jammed in her head to hide it, and every time she tries to be standard isekai mc, she (and everyone and everything around her) gets f*d. not to mention:
she's had no less than 3 rival gods poking around in her brain uninvited so they know everything about her, 4 if you count the former king of heaven.
yes, she is op compared to other settings, but in her war of gods world setting?
she's a bit above average. (Consider: Pree Ashema, Hanza, Yis-Un, HIMSELF, and others not mentioned cuz spoilers and space)
