I'm impressed they're actually dealing with the fact there's an inherent power mismatch with their dynamic and that what she did was super not ok. Looking forward to her realizing she's super duper gay when they try and set her up with randomdude.exe and then them figuring out how to make a relationship that starts with such a power imbalance work.

Yeah i think she's like gonna realize before anything happens that she has no desire for dudes. Her thoughts are gonna be, "but jinju would be..."; "I wonder what expression Jinju would make..." ; "Jinju's hands were more gentle/soft/pretty..." etc.

This series is doing a lot of stuff well (Others not so much). The elephant in the room is that, at this point in time, one can only assume her bisexuality. She might even be demi or pan for all we know. After all this doesn't look like a love at first sight scenario and it would be weird to negate the androgynous looks of Jinju.

Too bad her friend doesn't know she's having problems with the same sex. I think a blind date with another girl might be more beneficial to her development. Hell, if I was her friend I'll hook her up with the kinkiest bottom I know at mach speed.

Having said all that.

Why tarnish a great story with male characters?
She can have all the turmoil and wake up without any boy drama in between.

Doyeon explicitly asks Jinju for time and space to think about what she did and how she feels multiple times, and she doesn't get it, so she ends up making a rash decision. While I like that development I hope Doyeon thinks about what she wants to do with her relationship with Jinju soon. If the blind date drags on too long I might get bored. I like her relationship with Jinju too much

it shouldnt incur rage for a story to remind you that men exist, and heteronormativity is the default assumption. It's fair game as factor in making this as messy as it is. I mean, Jinju is friggin married, for one, and 40, which is a loooong time to repress ones sexuality (or a significant part of it), especially when one potential aspect of it has been reinforced, or propped up in pretense, for so long (she married young). Like, I don't think there is a lesbian out there unaffected by patriarchy, unfortunately. And that's not to say thats the sum limit of their potential roles in these stories, plenty can fill out other roles. The cliche and trope has been "interloper" in the past (particularly in trashier manhua/manhwa), but that suuuuppppeeerrrrrrrr remains to be seen here.

Well the end of chapter 14 atleast gave some hope for the future... But OFCOURSE the guy she went on a date with is her exboyfriend and OFCOURSE they never had any problems and only broke up because of distance and not having enough time. Author really trying hard to give a good excuse for her and the guy to get together/do something together
