@cor3zone Yeah, she's literally starting a revolution against the king now, but the situation has changed from the first chapter, because she has power as the acting ruler and (hopefully) the backing of someone who's basically all-powerful, and is trying to get herself recognized as a trustworthy replacement ruler before the king wakes up. A revolution that's drawn out and bloody is a very different thing than one where fighting is stopped before it really starts, or one you have no chance of winning in the first place because you're just an inexperienced princess going against an established king.

The question was to fish for elaboration on why you'd hate the princess for what she'd done, because I didn't think there was anything she'd done that was that bad. The princess hate just seems to me like it's more of the same of isekai comments thinking everyone should lick the MC's boots and that the MC should just solve everything by killing people who don't.

@sherlock0790 While that might help, it wouldn't solve the underlying problem of the miasma explained last chapter.
Demons simply existing creates a poison that kills humans, and the only ways to resolve that would be to either wipe out all demons or completely alter their biology. Since MC isn't willing to do the first, and probably wouldn't think of or know how to do the second, any treaty would be problematic at best.

Not sure why people are thinking a princess can even go against a King who's achievement basically buried her existence. He even cast the purification that bedridden him so everyone would see him as a hero. Its very fortunate that there's no evil noble or king's faction that challenge her temporary rules though.
