Don't take that bait @GurrenPrime5 . The friendship troop is notorious for trolling. People who actually want to see someone's viewpoint don't start with "learn what friendship is".
You could make a breakdown of every single chapter in this manga with every detail and moment that culminates in the absolutely undeniable conclusion that Shamiko and Momo have romantic feelings for each other... and this type of person will just say "They are just really good GAL PALS"

I guess our perception of the manga depends on what we want out of it. While I don't want them to be romantic, you may but the most important thing is our personal enjoyment of it.

My initial comment definitely came out more hostile than intended. Then again what does it matter.

My desires and yours overlap but in the end, doesnt fucking matter, manga still good

It's not about what we want out of it, it's simply what is factually happening. The difference between you and me is that I don't bend the facts to suit my preference. I love this story, because it has many great things about it like awesome humor, deep lore and no stagnant status quo. The awkward and slowburn romance is just one aspect of many. I don't need to exaggerate or be in denial about it, because I just take it how it is.

To use a certain someone's vocabulary "learn what is subjective and what is not". The romantic intent is not subjective. Don't run from the inevitable lol
Hopefully the friendship troop goes to new waters once chapter 64 hits.

@BugDemon Actually chapter-specific events (anything within the manga) can count as a spoiler within an manga thread. They added chapter threads for a reason. What you said has hints of spoiler, and mods want to safe than sorry since on reports because they don’t have unlimited resources to read every manga

I know ressources are limited, which is why I wondered why someone bothers to spoiler tag non-spoilers. I watched anime few months ago. it was pretty good, not outstanding, but interesting enough and has a very subtle yuri subtext, all-in-all enough to make me want to read the manga. And man, it was absolutely right decision! The story is getting complex and very interesting right after the events depicted in anime. Art, story, every character, yuri vibes, comedy and emotional moments - everything about this manga is just sooo good! Well, maybe besides BugDemon and KZO battles in comment section, but it's tradition already, so it's ok. I hope we'll get new anime seasons.
