Yeah, the author’s execution in this manga is honestly mind-blowing, especially when it comes to the karma waiting for the characters who betray MC later at the end of the story, assuming it follows the WN. Maybe you’d fit better in Jinsei Gyakuten for that whole character-karma part.

The reason I felt sorry for her is that because the situation feels so real to me, and it could completely mess up anyone in real life, ignoring her past sins. Especially after looking on that spoilers, even sudoku rn is completely a better option comparing to all of that.

Proper karmic retribution for her would be her losing her job and starting at the bottom rung working under a boss thats a complete misogynist that doesn't listen to her or appreciate her efforts, mirroring the situation she attempted to put on him. If the spoilers remain true that's just a bridge too far for me but Im curious enough to see if they stick with that ending.

One thing that pisses me off regardless is the karma is coming from the father who really has no reason to do this considering he already has gotten all he wanted from the deal, his daughter doesn't work there and the company is tanking on its own. The MC has pretty much no influence on their downfall outside of just knowing the daughter. It's just a more powerful figure exercising their complete control over others which really just sends the message that the only way to get ahead in life is to be best friends with the secret organization running the world.
