Chick proceeds to impale herself, blame the world and then professes she can still make him hers even though she’s like a person, wearing only a loin cloth, taking a nuke to the face. Only chance she has is if the prince is a pedophile and likes conversing with rocks.

I mean I'd rather have that happen where you (presumably) get wiped from existence instantly without any warning rather than suffering through the terrifying last moments after a random brain aneurysm or some other similar sudden death event :nyoron:
Then give him a heart attack and avoid getting possessed by a random weeb lol.

That's an old invention, from at least the 12th century. Of course, they were hardly available back then and the lenses couldn't be made anywhere near as thin or in this shape (the soonest you'd see something similar is the 18th century). It's not like this is the first anachronism here, have you seen the cometics they had?
To add to this, it's hardly a medieval fantasy setting. I'd say it looks more second half of the "early modern period", maybe around 18th century or so?. I see a ton of isekai (and fantasy in general) get called medieval fantasy, when they're much more renaissance and early modern in design of... basically everything.

It's also not Earth etc, it's 'random fantasy world', so I guess anything goes. Hopefully while obeying some kind of internal consistency so things don't go batshit stupid.

I'd say it's analogous to the Enlightenment period, with the advent of mechanical clocks resembling modern ones (as opposed to the Renaissance ones, when they were first invented). So yeah, 17th - 18th century. The glasses are admittedly a purely modern design though, as are the cosmetics I mentioned, especially the containers. It's to be expected, very few series are devoid of pretty obvious anachronisms, especially since authors seem to loathe putting any effort into researching their worldbuilding.

Oh boy. The last time I read manga on drugs, magic was real and Steve Jobs became the richest in the world by stealing my testicular torsion spell and threatening governments with it. You're obviously more creative.
