changing history in a series like this can be dangerous. Take the manga, the world of otome games is tough for mobs. Mc of that series repeatedly saves the game s heroine from tragedy which she should’ve overcome by working with the male leads, slowly building up her confidence. Instead, she feels like a burden and is constantly depressed and criticizing herself for the first few arcs. Stories are designed to happen for a reason and removing a single element can mess everything up"I'm not changing anything so I can live in peace!"
changes literally everything
there's nothing wrong with changing history either, idk why authors are so afraid of it
To be fair, in that series the male leads is all over his fucking retarded piece of twat sister, instead of the heroine. But I get your point.Pro tip ladies. If a dude you barely know ever spouts out that much accurate info about you, run for you freaking life and call the cops and everyone with a gun you know.

I'm not sure what you mean by authors being afraid of changing history. It's the character (usually an isekai MC) in the story that cares about keeping the "original story" the same."I'm not changing anything so I can live in peace!"

You clearly haven't read the alternate universe where that MC stays in the background (called Marie Route/Otome Games Are Tough For Us, Too!). Things are much, MUCH darker there!changing history in a series like this can be dangerous. Take the manga, the world of otome games is tough for mobs. Well, that’s also the sister meddling. She’s technically the one who messed up the story. And while they are all certainly stupid. She basically did what MC did here instantly knowing all of their Strength, weaknesses, secrets, and just everything about them so it was very easy to trick and manipulate them into falling in love with her. I also think she may have been an escort/prostitute in her past life so extra easy manipulate men.To be fair, in that series the male leads is all over his fucking retarded piece of twat sister, instead of the heroine. I have not. Does the sister still interfere? You call a love confession "accidentally"?

Thanks for the translation! Looking forwards to the inevitable mental gymnastics this guys does to see himself as a mob after stealing the Main Heroine.
The first volume of that has been adapted to a manga and translated here: https://mangadex.org/title/b5b21ce6...otome-game-wa-oretachi-ni-kibishii-sekai-desuI have not. Does the sister still interfere?
Well maybe you are right but remember that games have more bad endings than good endings so If you are doing nothing the danger IS biggerchanging history in a series like this can be dangerous.
