Isekai protagonists are almost always morons. They typically do what they’re told, explain all their abilities and don’t consider how the release of knowledge or technology could impact the world at large.

What’s that? You want to learn how to blow up a mountain random stranger that started hassling me one day? Sure I don’t see why not. In fact what about all your friends too? I’m sure your all stable well adjusted people that would never use that knowledge recklessly or join a group that would use your new power in that way.

I saved your life random noble, but now you want me to explain all my abilities? Of course person I just met with great influence, I can’t see how that could ever cause me problems in the future.

Wow a world of swords and magic, wanna see this cool gun thing that’s never been misused in my world! Also it’s actually relatively simple to replicate just by seeing the concept, especially with magic. No way this could alter the global landscape.
