@memorylris no, he still think ain as his son even when they cross in battlefield
Also for other who defending logas like @seryjvol
said its amount to nothing even ain is "true" son of logas, since no matter what logas will break the agrement by put glint(ain "brother") as head of house because his mother other(olivia mother in law), add how Glint get holy knight skill rather high rank compared to ain unknow EX-detox, Logas country still rather backwater where they put emphasize skill is everything and disregard effort
For everyone just put your shoe in Olivia too, sure the manga kinda didnt show how bad Logas is but for one thing Logas not that good guy either and yeah some part indeed bad writing

Thanks for the chapter!
Page 15 misspelled drool as droll. MC really needs to work on learning how to control the power he got from the Dullahan's magic stone before going for something larger. As Lloyd said in the previous chapter Effort is important and that no matter how great the skill is it's meaningless without training. After all, what's so good about being able to summon a large swarm of meteors to take out 2-3 weak goblins if it turns the area into a barren field of craters and injures the caster and allies as well because caster couldn't control the power and range of the spell?
Anyone know what the first princes meant by Olivia using her stump to have Ain? As far as I know a stump is created when a tree is cut down and killing the tree in the process which would kill the dryad, in this case Olivia, whose life is tied to the tree. Speaking of Olivia, I wonder if she'll show Ain her tree?

People really trying to fault the mom for not being retarded enough to bond her life to an obviously evil piece of shit, fucking pathetic, sure it would have been awkward for her if the dude turned out alright but he didn't, he did exactly what she though he would and thus her action were perfectly appropriate.

@SeryjVolk totally agree with you there. And since the nobles in this kind of settings mostly want sons that can inherit their titles and such, the OP basically just being a spawn of the mother would be suspicious to the father, since his “son” doesn’t look like him, which can arouse incredibility of the 1st son’s being the legitimate heir

@BalrogDeMorgoth Wtf did he actually do wrong? He made his biological son his heir, which is normal, and he favored the wife that slept with him... which is normal...

I mean, he didn't seem like a bad dad to his actual kid... and he still technically took care of them... I mean, sure, he wasn't emotionally a good husband, but she was not only a terrible wife, not only REFUSED to be a wife, but had a child WITHOUT SLEEPING WITH HIM....

And frankly, in a world where skills are what are valued most, it's normal for what seems to be the most talented son to take over the family... so if mommy let people know how talented the MC was, he'd be the heir as well...

@deathmailrock It's only normal if you assume he knew, which he didn't, so argument invalid, that just make the mom smart for not giving him what he wanted.

He doesn't know the child part and the wife part is her literally doing everything while he put her aside for another, he had no idea she wasn't holding up her end of the bargain and was perfectly happy with not holding up his end while getting all the benefit of their union, which once again just make the Mother smart for not trusting him.

No, it's not normal when you made a deal saying the exact opposite, what is normal in every universe possible is to actualy hold up your end of the bargain which he didn't while being sure the other party was holding up their end.

The whole complaint about the mother is basicaly complaining she was smart enough to not basicaly enslave herself to a dude who later proved to be not be trust worthy, so basicaly being too smart to be abused.
