The base pay should be enough (350,000 yen from ch 1) the problem is she keep failing due to Mamu and kept getting penalties for that (~250,000 in the same page from that alone)

So depending on whether combatants has penalties for failures (considering their job as cannon fodder) her being combatant could ironically ends up with more overall money.

Hey don't ask me, that's literally what he said after I messed up various of the turning tests. I should make a disclaimer that I live in Puerto Rico, where some people can even just buy driver's licenses under the counter here if you know who to ask.
