I don’t know much about souls games but this looks a lot like a dragon quest pastiche more than anything

I know this is like the 50 times someone says this, but I'm sure if we keep saying "this is peak", one day it must come true, probably

Huh. So this chapter fully establishes that the number of stars a person has isn't immutable. I thought Utena was just a freak.
...I'm pretty sure the idea is that Alice always had that many stars, they were just hidden by her hair. I'm not %100 sure of that though.

Alice having so many stars makes her reality bending powers quite explainable.

Now that is a proper filler and breather chapter! Good to take a break from the mystery.

Anyone remember that Sister Gianta is the only one who has ever managed to break Nero Alice’s dollhouse from the inside?
Nero Alice gets all the stars cuz she's a good noodle! :meguu:
Woah how many star she have? she definitely strongest if not her being too young.
She being super OP is nothing new, and both of those secret superpowers, we should have seen them coming.

Man, we really should have seen it coming…

I remember the first time I saw a Dragon Quest III parody. That was in "Miyuki-chan in Wonderland", which, coincidentally, is also full of lesbians. At that time, I didn't know DQIII and only thought of it as a general JRPG parody. Which it kinda was, it's just that DQIII is the archetypical JRPG and the go-to when you want to make a parody of that genre. Even to this day, apparently (of course, the recent remake also brought it more in public consciousness, but it had only a single announcement when this chapter was made).

Mixing it with Dark Souls III sure is a choice. But, unlike that game, this one doesn't make ot think that the character on the cover is giving a thumbs-up.

Incidentally, Loco's mechanic also exists in several Acerola games. When you take off the player characters' clothes, they get ridiculously OP.

Yes, they're hentai games with little concern about balance.

Although I guess many such games have mechanics like that.
