Certainly, considering all the girls have names somewhat related to their abilities, Baiser meaning Kiss always felt a little strange, although I guess it does have a "yuri" feeling. It's too bad this is only sold digitally. This is a series I'd actually buy, but I don't spend money on books that don't exist.
Plus it doubled-down on the incorrect name the fan TL uses (Baiser instead of Böse), and I dislike the notion of enshrining as official an outright error, simply because people are used to an incorrect version. Compare that to Dungeon Meshi, where the official TL ignored the fan version and used the correct names, even though many people (myself included) disliked them until it became known that they were Kui's intended spellings.
But after seeing this https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/böse ... Yeah, Böse does fits better.
I had a similar idea about Kiwi's transformation, when she was called "Leopard" although the Katakana was "REOPARUTO", but her military motif made me think that, rather than a Leopard, it may have been related to Napoleon Bonaparte, and the name was trying to spell something akin to Leopard for her hidden power.
Although considering all the weapons she is able to use, it doesn't sound like she is limited to that time's France technology, so I guess the idea of Leopard being related to a german tank or weapon brand or something fits better here.
