As to whether is is a straight relationship manga -- I think that's Complicated. Shion is clearly not straight (bi maybe?) given how raw her thirst to bathe with Majeli is. And while I definitely would not jump to any conclusions about Ayame's gender identity, you can't really seriously argue he doesn't interact with her as both genders. Not without literally ignoring the entirety of the last three chapters. I bet we'll see more of Ayame and Shion interacting in a straight context in future, but girl time bathing is probably first on the docket.

I have good news for you though. If you want a straight relationship manga, you are unbelievably spoiled for choice without ever to step foot in the Gender Bend district of Manga City. But if you do so, don't be surprised when you encounter people who subvert gender as a lifestyle. I'd suggest learning to get used to their presence because there's nothing else you can do about it. Otherwise it's like walking into a gay pool party with the intent of enjoying a swim and being horrified at seeing lots of men in tight speedos.

I think I'd agree with this, with the caveat that it seems to be escalating towards TS yuri. But I've seen such escalations fizzle out and turn out to be bait so it's not a sure thing.

(and honestly exploring the queer side of this one is more interesting than any potential yuri IMO, the whole "we live double lives so we don't get hurt and shamed again" thing. I definitely wouldn't object to some TS yuri as a side dish though.)

“Straight relationship manga” ffs one of the characters literally changes into a girl on a regular basis. If you don’t want to read too deep into genderbending stories that’s your choice, but don’t get mad when people notice progressive stances in manga you thought was a safe space

What would happen if he got pregnant in Majeri form and then canceled the transformation?

I’ve heard this question many times, and at this point it feels like the options are
1. The fetus would be placed in “storage”, and the next time he turned into a girl he’d be pregnant again
2. The magical girl transformation “erases” these sorts of changes, so if the transformation is cancelled the baby is just magically aborted
3. You know how in My Hero Academia, there’s a hero who can phase through solid matter and if he turns off his power while inside something, he rockets out of there as if he’s messing with the world’s physics engine? Basically that, so you get an embryo shot at your face at Mach 1
4. You can’t turn back while you’re pregnant, just to prevent stupid loopholes like this
