@Tearsax Wait what? That guy knew all about him from before because he was screwing with the thot at her place while the MC was trying to woo her outside and made fun of him in the process. He even called him the Romeo and everything here in this chapter as well. So yes, he knew she was playing around with the MC and was helping her cheat at that time (even if he was probably the original f!buddy) and got exactly what he deserved.

Check chapter 4 again. He was her boyfriend. He dumped her, then she fucked with the MC and then she went back to him. Thats why that dude nicknames the MC as "Romeo", because he goes to scream where she lives like Romeo did with Juliet.
To that dude, the MC is just someone his girlfriend fucked after breaking up with him. He doesnt know shit about how she and the MC have continued fucking since then. Even in this chapter he is surprised to see the MC there and he thinks he is stalking her, so no, the MC got no freaking right to beat someone just because the girl he thought was his girlfriend was having sex with him.

@Tearsex That's such BS, who doesn't think something's still going on if he's that freaking persistent about it or try to confront him beforehand since the MC literally shows up several times outside her place. so where was the big scene or the police to remove him then? He basically says he knows exactly what she was up and that the MC obviously thought they had was more then just 'friendship despite her protests'. That dude didn't care one bit about what was going on or to bother to find out exactly though until it literally showed up right in his face. At the very least you absolutely cannot say he didn't know anything because he saw it all outside her window while he was busy doing her in front of the MC knowing the lovesick Romeo had no freaking clue.

@Tearsax by nice I mean the mc broke up with the girl and confronted her on her crap I will say he handled the situation wrong and went over board by beating up the lover who knew nothing about the situation, and defending the author he did show more of a realistic reaction, because most of the time a man/woman will attack the love interest instead of the significant other

They MC is just an hypocrite. He gets mad as his "girlfriend" for cheating on him, as if he didnt do anything wrong when he has assaulted his sister-in-law while sleeping.
Not only that, he is mad and wants revenge against his sister-in-law because he thinks she told his brother where he lived, without even taking into account what he did to her LOL

She denies is but he basically summarizes everything that happens so clearly he has a working imagination and an ability to put two and two together which is more then I can say for you if you can't actually read something so obvious and claim this guy has the defense of ignorance.

@Tearsax I suggest you to re-read the story. The guy who was the "boyfriend", in reality just a fuckbuddy for tutor roleplay, knew about the MC, and even about his brother as well. Maybe it got lost in translation, but back when she dumps the bitch, he mentions them by name. He also did the quite the mocking when MC went to her house, which he recited by calling him a Romeo and a stalker. Plus, in the chapter before this, when the MC got called about the latest job, this one, it was suggested that the orange hair that met him again that moment, the dude wasn't shown of course, but this means he knew about MC and orange being in a relationship now. So all in all, he did deserve a beating, sure, not his face completely smashed, but it wasn't something he didn't have it coming.

What I found funny is how this all ended up with the police involved. Unless other people saw it, it should've been going away silently. MC had serious blackmail material on the guy, and orange bitch was scared shitless.

To me he is just someone who is cheating on his wife with the orange girl and who has been fucking her since before the MC did and guessed that the orange girl might have been fucking him during their "breakup". He might know or not that she has continued fucking the MC even after they got back to being lovers, but he might not care what she does with her life since she is just a lover.
But then again, he has been with her since BEFORE the MC started a relationship with the orange girl. If she is gonna treat the MC as her boyfriend then its HER obligation to cut her relationship with him since he aint gonna tell her to not date the MC when he is also cheating on his wife LOL
That dude did NOTHING wrong to the MC, yet the MC took his anger against him instead of doing it against the one who betrayed him.

Yeah, i also thought this was bullshit when i first read it and that it was just a way to carry the plot, but i guess it was the dude the MC beat that called the cops. After all its not like the MC can use that material for blackmail since it was a work commissioned by someone else and that could put his work in danger.

@Tearsax Then it was lost in the translation, because in the raws he mentions them by name, at least the brother. And it doesn't matter that he was with her since before, because they "broke up", actually he was the one who initiated it. From that point, orange got together with the MC, and he did know it as he met them, when MC was called about the job, and he spoke to the orange. His face wasn't shown, but from the chapters before and after, it's quite obvious, especially with the reaction from orange. So he walked right into it, especially when he decided to mock the MC after they got busted. Sure, it was overboard to an extent, but not undeserved. Bitch should've gotten a punch or two imo.

I guess it would be some unseen third party, because if he was beaten up that much, and it goes to the police, he can't really cover it up in front of his wife either, aside from the blackmail material MC already had. With the authorities involved, there are records of what happened, where it happened, who was there, so he had quite a lot to loose.

@Istvan90623 @Tearsax Just leave it at this point, it's quite obvious Tearsax doesn't want to actually bother reading the dialogue or use simple common sense to make deductions most pre-teens could conceive of, based on what was actually written, never mind the chick's 'boyfriend' who spells out what happened for the audience from his own mouth thus proving he knew exactly what was going on while the MC was busy out their shouting it to her bedroom window as they did it. Clearly this is all just picture book reading for them so they can write the story in their own head rather then actually reading the story for what it is.
