I like how Iruma acknowledges that his desire to not let anything or anyone slip through the cracks is greedy, it shows that he's not as naive as some people make him out to be, and it works with some of the traits that demons look for in their leaders. Yeah he might be working in a manner that seems selfless because Iruma desires everyone to be happy, but even that can be a source of greed, in a sense, because it's still what Iruma desires, sometimes at the expense of others (those that want the status quo to remain the same, for example.) It's an interesting concept really, selfless greed, it seems contradictory at first, but it makes sense when you consider it from the perspective of someone that finds joy in the happiness of others. Honestly, Iruma's acknowledgement that his path is quite greedy makes me even more interested to see the final confrontation with Kirio since this means that Iruma knows he's not acting on some grandiose hero's path, but his own personal self-interest in seeing Kirio return to the club.

Fuck man that exchange between Iruma and Mephisto almost made me tear up.
To see him see how Iruma won't discard him unlike the last Demon lord was bittersweet imo.

Looking forward for what is next, as I am expecting Iruma to have Aced his exam!! New form for the ring guys!!!

I like that i think this is the first time Iruma and Delkira have been compared by their differences, it's cool seeing that.
Yeah, it was a really cool twist to the usual formula, especially since not being like Delkira is what'll make Iruma appealing to Mephisto as a king candidate. It's honestly been pretty cool to see a Demon that wasn't a fan of Delkira and his style of leadership, it's been an interesting way of getting more information about who Delkira was and how he ruled.

Delkira was the pinnacle of self-centered charisma, he attracted others by the sheer volume of his confidence and talent... but he didn't really need anyone, the few that could stay close to him still were always at a certain distance... i am curious if he was entirely happy with that or not, but this is for the future.

Iruma is the pinnacle of selfless charisma, he doesn't have overwhelming talent, even his charisma is very subtle if not somewhat lacking... but both are there and he has luck too, he works for it, and toils and sees more and more... Iruma wants to stay by others' sides, he wants to see their potential realized in all their majesty, he wants people by his side, and people ultimately want to stay by his side because he gives the security not of overwhelming strength but gentle certainty.

This is really a story about egoism, of wanting, of desiring... but it is about how that same egoism when well directed and controled can connect and nurture too, not just take and hurt.
