Easily the worst arc so far to me
I find it funny that I sometimes see this kind of comments in every arc beside maybe Harvest festival. I guess people just have different tastes. 😂

Iruma going to ace this test. Mephisto told him to build a country for many ears and Iruma make it so they can have education, agriculture, economy and relation with other demons.

Now not only many ears found their new purpose in life, Mephisto too found his purpose in Iruma. I'm actually kind of scare that he will pull a Poro and follow Baal instead, but I'm glad that was not the case.

I guess we nearing the end of this arc and next week will probably the rank ceremony.

Mephisto's hopeful face at the end made me smile. Man finally found a demon king to follow.
He's going to have tough competition with Azz-Azz, though.

Mephy will be talking about the first rizzler to all his new pupils. The boi that could charm anyone, and a very greedy boi at that

First it's a carrot farm, then it's carrot-related industries, then it's carrot marketing firms, carrot insurance companies, carrot college. Their potential is limitless!
And then eventually branching out into hearing aids and other disability assistance technology research

Here's hoping that this won't end by just this. Too easy and too chill for epic moment like ranking up to 6.

and so therefor iruma passed his test without even completing the assignment.
the task for iruma is the king maker, not as the king itself
still need prepare figure the king for the many-ears clan.
but yeah nova-kun is the 1st choose

This manga is retardation. What a perfectly good opportunity for character growth being wasted. However, i have already read so many chapters of this manga so i must keep reading...

"The manyears hearing lets them choose the seeds and the soil"
That would make it exclusive, but in that case how did Nova farm them?

Also the old trope, of protag knowing just what to say to assuage the fears of people he doesn't know.

I like how Iruma acknowledges that his desire to not let anything or anyone slip through the cracks is greedy, it shows that he's not as naive as some people make him out to be, and it works with some of the traits that demons look for in their leaders. Yeah he might be working in a manner that seems selfless because Iruma desires everyone to be happy, but even that can be a source of greed, in a sense, because it's still what Iruma desires, sometimes at the expense of others (those that want the status quo to remain the same, for example.) It's an interesting concept really, selfless greed, it seems contradictory at first, but it makes sense when you consider it from the perspective of someone that finds joy in the happiness of others. Honestly, Iruma's acknowledgement that his path is quite greedy makes me even more interested to see the final confrontation with Kirio since this means that Iruma knows he's not acting on some grandiose hero's path, but his own personal self-interest in seeing Kirio return to the club.
Whenever the idea of Greed is explored in this way, it reminds me of T.Pratchett book quote:

“All witches are selfish, the Queen had said. But Tiffany’s Third Thoughts said: Then turn selfishness into a weapon! Make all things yours! Make other lives and dreams and hopes yours! Protect them! Save them! Bring them into the sheepfold! Walk the gale for them! Keep away the wolf! My dreams! My brother! My family! My land! My world! How dare you try to take these things, because they are mine!

I have a duty
!”

his task was to found a nation, not to make someone a king. making someone a king aside from himself was the hidden requirement trap to make him fail.
