Made me tear up a bit....though I can't help but worry it's a bit premature, they don't exactly have a military force to secure their territory apart from 1 (admittedly strong) guy, and that group left for the time being but it's not like their attitude changed. Just leaves me wondering if Iruma and co are gonna be back sooner than later

You might not immediately recognize it, but Iruma didn't just become a friend to Nova, he has earned the undying respect and allegiance of the Many Ears. This is going to be a core moment for the time Iruma takes Delkira's chair back from Baal and Narnia.

And, for the people who are asking about if he ranked up? Dude, he isn't even home, and Mephisto hasn't given his final grade, chillax.

Another seed of strength planted, they just have to be careful to not allow others to trample it.

This conflict had a different feeling to others in the past, until now every time Iruma and Co clashed with Baal's cronies, they had somewhat the advantage of being on the side of the "law".

Sure Baal is a Crown too, he can do some things out in the open... but he didn't, because he knows there is still a lot of influence he doesn't have... until now that is.

Now he has Narnia as an ally too, and he became a favorite of that princess, Narnia may have the authority and privilege of a Crown and this situation shows that he doesn't have it fully under control, but just the fact that he was overt with his designs, that his platoon did it without questioning and that probably there wont be any punishment against him... those show that Baal's faction has gained leverage.

Quite a simpler arc than I initially thought. However, it gives new insights about the highers-ups. In particular, Mephisto, Henri, and Narnia that could serve to further the plot from now on.
