• Balam (Iruma revealed it to him)
• Kallego (Balam revealed it to him)
• Bachiko (Sullivan revealed it to her)
• Baal and his posse (heard Iruma say it while he was hallucinating)

In a previous chapter, Iruma told Alice and Clara that he's sitting on a big secret that he wants to tell them, but can't, at least not yet.

Both Alice and Clara responded with very similar statements. There's been quite a bit of speculation here and in other places about what those secrets are.

Objectively, 5.5 seems like a fair grade. Iruma needed the aide of his soulmates and of Mephisto at the end so he isn't ready for rank 6.

But the Border Patrol interference should almost invalidate the exam, since he wasn't supposed to deal with something on that level

Just the difference is that in Ori, the relationship is more like Guardian-Protectorat, while Mafia AU is more like close sibling.

Well, the ori au have that vast age difference while mafia au they're only few years apart and grew up together.

For Azz, I’m guessing it has to do with his mother being a succubus. Family bloodlines and all.

For Clara, I think it ties into a note from a prior chapter - she’s never shown off her wings, and is embarrassed even thinking of doing so.

I'm guessing Azz bloodline magi, something he never want to use, have something about manipulating emotion, since he's children of head of lust bloodline.

Probs have a reason why he doesn't wish to use it.

Either that or it's a BS excuse so Mephisto has more reason to hang around Iruma and give him the full rank to 6.

It might also be something like: you passed but you are currently lacking in capabilities, magical or fighting or otherwise.

i think it would be too easy if iruma passed— he did fulfill the requirements of making a kingmaker instead of being the king but he didn't really do it intentionally? it just came about naturally to him since he's more caring/considerate as a human vs demon

which isn't bad but it doesn't really show his full capabilities if that makes sense
