I-R-U-M-A = A-M-E-R-I
It's really just a letter away...
But I'm not going down that route until proven otherwise, for now I'm in the belief that she's the manga author that Iruma worked as an assistant for.
Looking back at the 2 chapters that "
First Love Memories " made it's first appearance, noticed that she looks like the Female lead.
while I was at it, I wanted to see if it provided any clues for whats to come, but it's not a lot...
Instead just found some Manga-Anime difference:
- "First Love Memories " Vol. 1 Manga cover - Manga: FMC in the center with sunflowers(?) in the background; Anime: FMC holding a love letter while surrounded by more love letters in the background.
- The image of Iruma reminicinsing about his assistant days - Manga: Iruma and another assisstant working, while a strict looking man is looking at his watch impatiently; Anime: Iruma and another assisstant working, while a strict looking woman is watching over them. Safe to say that in both cases they were the editor.
As someone who went into the manga after watching anime, seeing the difference does help in detracting the Iruma-Not Iruma relation.
- it shows that they haven't revealed what the Author looked like, or even her name/pen name (until now, maybe...)
- The volume cover in the manga version connects to the current story arc. (just a little)
- Volume 1 cover (Manga ver.) shows flowers in the background Since the world between the human world and Netherworld is a flower field, and the cage Author is in has a flower garden, is probably safe to assume that "First Love Memories " might be based on what's gonna happen here.
