The story up to this date strongly implies, that this human-woman is Iruma's Mom, because she is basically the female version of him.

I don't think there was much implication in the story itself, though. She does look awfully a lot like him, and i doubt that wasn't Nishi's intention at all, but it wasn't even confirmed (or disproven) yet that she's the author of the "First Love Memories" manga.

also, if they invented all of this magic for henri to speak with the human girl, then how did iruma understand every demon after he was brought to hell?

Firstly since she is the author of the manga Iruma helped she can not be related to iruma since iruma was forced to work at a young age due to his parents abuse.

He did seem to recall working on the manga fondly, though. Then again, might be just Iruma's character. I'd also find it weird if it was the case, that he was sent to work under his blood-related mother by his foster parents.

Second, an Allocer and Furcas of this generation are mentioned together. I wonder if it's common for these families to marry each other?

Just family friendship probably. They are previous generation, so i don't think there is much to look into.

Well, the portal connected to Shinjuku, so it would most likely be Japanese to find their way into Hell.
Also, it's Japanese manga, of course human world automatically means Japan

That theory only works if you completely forget weve seen Irumas Mother already. Iinstead of telling people to read you comment you gotta read the story man.

Okay but I am so utterly in love with the knowledge that the translation spell, something used on Iruma right at the start of the series so casually, was built and created using the resources of so many groups of demons coming together for this one result that they may not know the details for- but Sullivan asked. and that's enough.
Also to have Henri's first thing just be a declaration of love is so on brand but remains so sweet as well lol

A few tings. First, I love the smaller details, like looking for Mephisto for help on demon world history. Sully knows exactly what it means when Mephisto hooks his wagon on someone. Second, an Allocer and Furcas of this generation are mentioned together. I wonder if it's common for these families to marry each other? Third, even if this human isn't Ameri's mother but just the author of the book, I wonder if she will have some adventures in the demon world which she would chronicle as First Love Memories. There was a lot of fighting over a guy, like Raim could be the jealous one wanting Henri, a run from a powerful organization, Henri hiding her from the Boarder Patrol as they live for a time in the Demon World, the lead leaving on a spaceship to an unknown place, her leaving the demon world to the human world.

All that said, this is the danger of a mangaka using such similar faces as part of a family line. It gives us bad ideas!

I agree. It is one of the things I like about this manga. The author is really good at intertwining the characters in a way that doesn't feel forced, but at the same time explains lots about the lore and the characters themselves. For example, we now know how Sullivan ascended to such a high position in demon society; he will accept potentially illegal requests from protegees, he will bribe people with tickets to succubus establishments, he will avoid demons who are too smart/strong like Mephisto, so on and so forth... But he wasn't the focus; Henry was.

I know that the author used magic as a world-building shortcut to loop in side characters, but I was kinda hoping they woudl just rawdog it. It's really not that diffuclt for two intelligent creatures to teach eachother their language. Like put an iraqi and a chinese person together , two langagues that don't sound like each other at all, and give it a few weeks and both we'll be able to comminucate with each other .

I really like how they did it in the movie Arrival

the story up to this point is insane good and now potentially putting incest after 400+ chapter would be such a wrong move in so many ways...

but i still bet that she is not Ameri's mom, because she does not look like her mom in the flashbacks we had.

Lol 😆 just admit it was a dumb comment. Because I actually read someone suggest that iruma worked for her mom and her mom is a manga author. Which makes perfect sense. Because she had her mother's work from her father. He probably sneaks into the human world just to see his wife. He knows if she stays in the netherworld her life is at constant risk. And what good husband puts his wife at risk. None. The weirdest part: she might have siblings that are human. Honestly I can't wait to see how the author takes this.

Shes HIGHLY implied to be the mangaka of the manga Ameri reads(her father clearly gets copies somehow to let her read her mothers work). Iruma also worked as an assistant on it.

Henri mentions to Iruma when they first met he knew a human once and helped the human escape to the human world. Its why he was willing to help Iruma. So shes clearly that human and is very much alive.
