I thought this would happen, death by child birth or returned to the human world after giving birth to protect her from demons after smelling human blood. The protect/deport human act I'm guessing was made up or inspired by Henri so there isn't another case like Merize where there isn't another human death to protect humans that accidentally enter the demon world.

Hadn't he already broken the rules by conceiving and raising a child with a human woman? And who told you that if it was about contraband, he was the only one who could give it to her? She's the head of the school council.
Considering it wasn't mention to be part of the rules, I doubt that. It was an unprecedented incident, but not a forbidden one, at least not at that time. As for the contraband, they had those books since she was a child, well before she joined Babylis, let alone it's student council. We literally seen Henri and Ameri with a book together, when she was a child.

Do you guys realize that Iruma is an undocumented immigrant and Ameri is an anchor baby? Even though some demons think they shouldn’t exist, without all the prejudice, everyone else just sees them as who they are. Iruma has to hide that he’s human, always fearing the day someone finds out-a fear that could change everything, just like how immigrants fear what’s going on right now. But because of Alice and Clara, his soulmates, and everyone around him-that fear doesn’t stick for long; their support lets him live his best.

Still, there will always be people who want to deny their right to exist. How do you, the readers, feel about Iruma and Ameri? You like them, don’t you? Thats why we're reading this manga. And yet some folks spend their whole lives trying to take away love and acceptance from people like them. Some go to foreign lands to escape danger; others go for a better life. And now, the dumbass in chief wants to get rid of birthright citizenship-the very thing that made the United States what it is.

The reason I’m writing this is that some people fail to see the deeper messages in these stories. For them, it’s just entertainment, a pastime, and the lessons about love, acceptance, and empathy just fly right past them. They got it but they don't reflect on it. So its my job to piss people off even if for a second.:meguusmug:

Until we haven't seen her actual death or grave, I'm still holding out that Merize is still the author. It just turned Ameri and Iruma's manga reading sessions into something more special since she's unknowingly reading her mother's (and Iruma's since he assisted) works. Bonus points that her own father could've translated the manga for her, but he didn't, couldn't, or wouldn't... or he doesn't know it existed somehow.

On the other hand, she said that it's been with the family for generations... but her dad (I assume) could be lying about that for obvious reasons because humans "don't exist".

Every time, EVERY TIME someone brings AMERICAN or EUROPEAN politics into the comments section it always turns into a mess, so please stop. 🙄

Holy shit the absolute balls on Shamking.

"Hey there's going to be a scent that drives demons mad so we need you to take the sense of smell from everyone in this room and transfer it to yourself instead. The sensory overload from it is expected to be so intense that we're drugging you, locking you in this metal box, and having an entire clan cast mind magic on you to try to calm you down. In the event you do escape one of the strongest demons is here to beat you up"
"Bet"

And then the man actually manages to stay sane enough to not drop his magic for the entire duration of the surgery. Amazing

"Not mentioned in the rules" - you reminded me of an old movie where a dog played on the basketball team because there was no rule explicitly prohibiting it. By the same logic, we could demand a rule prohibiting human manga.

Not the same. By saying it's "not mention in the rules", I mean it's not consider condemn-able, illegal, and/or crime-worthy in any remote way within the Demon World. After all, we literally saw the thirteen great demons discussing Henri having a child with a Human, and in that entire discussion; there was nothing mention about Henri breaking a law in any way. Only that the situation was unprecedented, and they had to proceed with caution.

So again, back to your earlier point; Henri didn't break any rules by conceiving and raising a child. Hope you can understand now, and realize why some folks are curious about how Henri even got the manga is the first place.
