I have maybe a dumb question. Iruma was sold to Sullivan there is a contract in place that Iruma Signed. So would it not be illegal for him to be deported???? Not sure if some one touch on this or not. Just wanted to verify info.

It was illegal for Sullivan to go into the human world in the first place, that's why Border Patrol daddy brought Sullivan in for questioning during the Battler Festival arc. The contract is not going to get Iruma off the hook.

My guess is that Sullivan is asking the Deity Princess to close the gate to prevent Iruma from getting sent back, and Ba'al is going to help in order to make Sullivan owe him a favor, like nominating Ba'al to be the next Demon King.

there are 3 ways to resolve this:

1 most likely he will make a deal with her. Saying if you can beat the misfit class on one on one battle. Proving iruma teachings is stronger than boarder patrol. I really hope this because armori against Iruma would be amazing.

2. He reveals he is the grandson of the late demon King. They would basically be deporting the demon kings heir.

3. Have iruma survive the worst location of the demon world and if he survives he can stay. It make sense why Iruma says "come find me".

Or it could be something else entire. I am really looking forward to it. 👍

If a contract tries to enforce something illegal, it is, itself, illegal, and thus void. (That’s why most modern contracts now have “if any part of this contract turns out to be illegal, only that part should be voided” clauses.)

And yes, as others said, he might be one of the 3, but what he did was still illegal.

'I'm begging you' is what I should say, Nishi-sensei. You can't keep cooking for this long. It's so peak.

Tinfold hat theory time: Sullivan is going to explain to Lady Shura that Iruma is a human, yes, but he's secretly Delkira's child, and he was tasked by Delkira himself to look after Iruma as his 'grandson'.

Praying that this will be the arc that will also tell how Sullivan actually went to the human world to begin with, and why specifically Iruma.

I dont feel that Iruma is the grandkid of Delkira. Demon Kings from what we know weren't really selected by lineage, tho the expectations are on those who held significant power or influence.

Baal should know about Memphisto being Kingmaker too. If Baal did want to be Demon King, wouldnt he had at least tried soliciting Memphisto too?

"Do as we say or we will pick a fight with this assortment of uber powerful demons when a single one of them just beat the shit out of us".

These mofos are lucky that Iruma is so soft.

Every update i just dread reading. Only thign that can turn this around is if we get some backstory on Iruma's adoption.

Like how did Sullivan get to Iruma or Why Iruma?

Should he though? Mephisto went into seclusion at around the same time Delkira became Demon King. Delkira himself had a full reign and vanished IIRC hundreds of years ago, meaning you have to be really old to have known both of them personally.. Baal should be way younger than this - he's explicitly a younger adoptive brother to Sabzan, and as we've seen in Merize arc Sabzan was still a student after Delkira's disappearance. Which means Baal may know that Mephisto is old and powerful, but have no idea as to what role he played in the court before.

Azami doesn't have the political capital to get away with threatening Iruma's friends with torture. He can arrest Iruma-Kun because Iruma admitted to a crime. But Azami just announced intent to harm the children of current and former political leaders. He's super lucky Iruma gave in so quickly. Because that's the kind of talk that gets people into tragic accidents to prevent a civil war.

Jokes has left the building.

If not for the torture factor, I thought he was going to hide out as Irumi, and have to act happy.

I hate Joseph Baals
