@lextender His voice actor in the anime is male. If the author wanted to keep his gender ambiguous, he would had chosen a female voice actor like Opera , Crona in Soul Eater, Kuromaru in UQ holder, Gin in Bungo Stray dogs, Ryunosuke in Urusei Yatsura, Seishirou in Nisekoi. There are plenty of female voice actors can pull off male voice like Megumi Ogata but they chose Kimura Ryohei who mostly voice handsome men.

@Trident I don't see any hint that he is a girl. I am surprised why people think he is a girl. He is your typical bishounen. His obsession with Iruma and the way he acts is exactly the same with Gokudera Hayato in Hitman Reborn and I don't see anyone think Gokudera is a girl. He is only embarrassed by his mother's behaviors and flirty nature so he tried to separate her from his friends.

@ar513 LMAO. People use -chan for males all the time including full-grown adult men. Haven't heard of the manga Crayon Shin-chan? People use -kun for females too. There is no rule restricting them to one gender. Mothers use -chan for her sons because it is cute. I can name several male characters that are called by -chan like Shigeshige in Gintama who was called Sho-chan by the main cast, Shinpachi in Gintama is called Shin-chan by his sister, even Garp in One Piece was called Garp-chan by a fellow vice admiral even though he is a 78 years old man.
