This part of the story honestly feels like it belongs in a different manga altogether. It isn’t like some stories that are flowery on the surface but are actually dominated by dark themes, it just feels like a slice of life comedy has pseudo dark b-plots shoehorned in.

@Pirangunter21 They're playing Iruma's recordings from when he was being controlled by the illusions. I guess you haven't read enough mangas to tell which speech bubbles mean what. That type of speech bubble and text format usually means someone is talking through a phone or someone's voice is being played over a radio or something.
