"demons are summoned to sate humans desires" sounds like many-a doujin plot

Humans are tall tales but they are in the school song?
When Britain first, at Heaven's command
Arose from out the azure main;
This was the charter of the land,
And guardian angels sang this strain:
"Rule, Britannia! rule the waves:
"Britons never will be slaves."

Way back in the distant past he Romans invaded and left... and then the Danish moved in (thanks Gwrtheyrn) and then more Danish... and then the Normans, who were also Danish once removed. And all the generations of Danes relegated we Celts to the hills and mountains, claimed the fertile farmlands for themselves, became known as English and stole the title of "Britons" for themselves after thoroughly beating down every other sovereign on the island.

Not that I was around for any of it, obviously... but holding grudges for what happened to my ancestors over a thousand years ago just amuses me. And I mostly try to pretend that Celtic cultural identities still means something so many generations of mixed blood down the line.
