I feel like the longer he's there the more demonlike he becomesCan he actually reach their level? Don't forget that he can use magic only thanks to the ring, without it he's a normal human. And the ring gets power from someone that periodically recharges it
She sadly lacks in the "stack" department to be a "shortstack".Don't be intimidated, Iruma! Keep singing the praises of our shortstack archer queen!
On point. It was fascinating to think about it because the series made sure to emphasize how their are different type of strengths than just beating the shit out of something, so you would think the 13 crowns would reflect that on having some of their strengths not just being how easily than can kill things. Like how Amaryllis is presumably the pinnacle of seduction. He might be like a super powered Jazz, using their cunning as their strength.
He's and his classmates still have a ways to go before they're even at their professors' level, of course they're going to be outdone by a member of the 13 crowns, it'd be boring if there was no reason for Iruma and co to need to work harder to earn their place as the "center of attention." I don't get why what your saying is a bad thing in any capacity, it's not like Iruma's position as main character has been usurped or anything else like that 🤔I'm getting tired of Iruma not being the center of attention. We were given his little ring guy and how it helps him appear to be a demon and that was going somewhere with Iruma becoming stronger, and he has with his archery but other than that it's gone nowhere.
Exactly, there was a lot of conversation about how Asmodeus is limiting himself because he refuses to use his bloodline ability, and Baal is obsessed with demons returning to their roots. It's very likely that demons grow stronger as they tap into their heritage. We also haven't seen much with their familiars in a good while, so there will likely also be an arc around that since we know that connecting with their magic beasts is supposed to be a source of power too (even if not all demons do, much like Kalego.)well, in nurarihyon no mago, there was a skill that is basically calling to their roots. Power level stepped above a new stage when it was introduced.
I imagine this manga being the same.
Though they did touch up on this with the master disciple arc, there should be something more, more in the line of their ancestry.
While it is true that it's not his magic, don't forget that the ring is being charged by one of the most powerful demons in the realm and that Ali has been evolving alongside Iruma. As long as Iruma can learn how to use the magic he's been given better, he should be able to reach that level with enough time and training, even as a human. Can he actually reach their level? Don't forget that he can use magic only thanks to the ring, without it he's a normal human. And the ring gets power from someone that periodically recharges it
Reminds me of when people complained about the school festival arc in My Hero Academia, sometimes people just seem to forget that series like these aren't all about the action, they're students, they're not supposed to be fighting real threats yet.with all this talk about power scaling and the misfits matching up to the 13 crowns....
I mean, at the end of the day, this really just isn't that kind of story.
As of late all he's been doing is watching from the benches. I'm not saying make him the new demon king right now but there hasn't been any actual, visible growth these past handful of chapters. Every time he tries to step into the center, he's been violently shoved out by someone else. He's and his classmates still have a ways to go before they're even at their professors' level, of course they're going to be outdone by a member of the 13 crowns, it'd be boring if there was no reason for Iruma and co to need to work harder to earn their place as the "center of attention." Do you see your hair grow? I don't notice it myself until one day I am like, "Time for a cut." The growth is slow and not always noticeable, but it is there. We don't "see" their growth because we see chapter after chapter, but it is there. As of late all he's been doing is watching from the benches.
