Hum, am I the only one who didn't like this chap ? Yes at the end it was cute but what's that reaction at the beginning?
Why is it always funny to see the FL being physically violent to the ML ?
So funny right ? But if the roles were inverted, everyone would lose their minds and call it domestic violence or something.
Was it the author trying to be funny ? Is the point that she got embarrassed because he suddenly embraced her in school? Nonsense, this is Seinen not shounen.
First time I really dislike something on this manga, I guess the perfect manga doesn't exist.

Just treat it as heavily exaggerated. He did have it coming in how she was clearly embarrassed of him showing off like that every time.
In terms of the domestic violence thing. I would first like to say of course I don't condone physical violence.
But there is a great difference in severity if a female hits a male and a male hitting a female.
If both are average females and males, the damage dealt by a punch of man is much, much more than a woman. Of course, if the woman is trained, it's another story entirely, but that's not my point.
For example, there have been many cases of drunken one punch kills where the punch knocks over and knocks out someone into a wall/floor and the opponent hits their head and die. Of course this is unlikely and you'd be quite unlucky, but the severity still stands, an all-out punch can kill.
If you get punched by a girl, and if jokingly, you're probably fine as a guy. If you get punched by a guy, even if jokingly, it probably hurts quite a bit.
I reiterate I do not condone physical violence, just stating there is a very big physical difference between a man hitting a woman and vice versa.

But this is legit so unique. Theres a lot of childhood friends romances out there, but i dont remember seeing one where they deal with the sudden changes.
