Ah, it's Nogoro-kun...I was surprised to see him, and I guess it makes the chapter a little less worse...I liked the cover featuring Toshiya for a change too

Seriously, is the old man even trying anymore? Somehow, this is the same team that not that many chapters ago seemed to be a "real threat" with a "real chance" to eliminate Fuurin-Oobi. Remember, "last summer" and all that stuff? I knew it was just a matter of time before they were revealed to be weaklings, I just didn't expect it to be this soon. This chapter has a very "final" feeling to it, and knowing Mitsuda, I just don't see how Kawaeda gets over this. Ran out of gas already? That's good then...
I'm getting bored out of my mind translating this, I know my puppies still want to read it (or at least haven't told me they don't want to read it anymore) so I'm still keeping at it, so can you at least do a trick or something to entertain me? After this long I'd like to think you'd have at least a vague idea of what makes me tick...

Don't worry! The enemy's misplays will be matched by Daigo's meager batting (I assume he will either mess up badly or mess up just a bit to be able to get Mayumura to base, tying up the game because this guy can't finish games). Same old formula for Major~

Well, I guess that's true...back when I was still passionate enough about Mitsuda to call him my archenemy, I vowed to always follow him no matter what, because that's what enemies do, because I wanted to be there when it all ended. I don't have any anger or anything like that left in me, just indifference, but if I don't keep my conviction, my promise, if I let him defeat me, can I really call myself a man?! I'll follow him, and in turn, you follow me! Until the end, where we can gaze from above him and say we won!

Well, the Fujimihara game did have all that buildup only for him to end up hitting a measly single and messing up in the bases, so with that and knowing How Much Mitsuda likes to drag things on, I could see it. But I also know how much he likes to glaze Fuurin-Oobi, so I'm kind of split. Basically, I'll believe it when I see it.
Haah, the "MAJOR formula", huh? (<--a little offended that you would compare this to MAJOR) After all I still wish Daigo had gotten injured in the last chapter...

Welcome! Sadly, I had to call it the MAJOR formula because it does tend to happen (which is why we usually see Goro pitching even more than what he should be). However, in Major, it's usually his teammates failing to finish the game (or sometimes, Goro pitching perfectly until he messes up when it's just one batter remaining).
