@Psychronia Personally, I wouldn't really care about the cliche with the female party falling in love with the guy of the party... if it was actually done well enough. I feel, so far, it hasn't really been done well in other stories that had it.
This actually seems like something where it can go either way, simply remaining trusted party members, and even can be described as a "family," or it changes to where there are romantic feelings involved. It's just as long as the payoff actually works.

At least it seems they arrived in time to save most of them.
Why are orcs always the ones getting bullied? Like the elves straight went to the cave the orcs were hanging out in and started murdering all of them. Orcs didn't do much to them at all they literally just existed and the elves decided to just start taking them out. They even have the gull to get mad when one of their own got murdered by the orcs, acting like the orcs should have just laid there and died quietly

@Kershira Orcs are conceptually an evil race, moreover, the elves were heading directly to that cave from the very first place. People are not insane, they don't do things without a reason, even crazy people don't do things without a reason, we just don't understand their reason, that is.
Anyway, If they were headed there is because killing orcs was at least a part of their objective. And since they didn't show any maliciousness during their journey to have been killing orcs for racist reasons, the orcs probably did something to invoke the anger or at least the attention of the elves, whom in turn sent a group of scouts or adventurers into a mission.
You can easily reach this conclusion by looking at the elves personality, compared to the reactions shown from the orc leader.
The elves never belittled any of the killed orcs, they never shown aversion to their enemies, instead they were merely chatting with one another, and one of them had shown fear instead of hatred or ill intent towards the orcs, they solved that by encouraging their party member and not by belittling their enemies. While in turn you can easily see the arrogance and malice in the orc leader's eyes, and the aggression and enjoyment in the other orcs actions. Of course you could argue that these feelings came from the fact that they were avenging their fallen comrades, but it's too soon to imply that, as the orcs had never even shown their point yet.
However we did see that the elves, while they killed the orcs without remorse, they killed them respectfully. They aimed at their vitals for a clean death as to not cause excessive suffering and to not give a chance for them to strike back. This shows that elves respect the Orcs strength. This shows both professionalism and character.
Compare these elves with the newbie adventurers in Goblin Slayer, the ones underrating and making jokes about goblins, and you'll clearly see that these are good people, and that they know what they are doing. That said, they still lost because all orcs have levels in berserker appearently, since they keep moving even when instantly killed.
