Their methods are not.
Even if they stop being barbaric. They don't because it is in their nature to do so.
Even if they become civilized and discipline, it is little to restrain the nature of an orc. Unless selecting breeding and nature that force them from barbaric to civilized.

There are ways, however difficult, to become a more sustainable species. I'd start by not eating people. That's like, step 1.

For an orc? Yes.
But if you can't see through his bullshit, you can't deal with modern politics.
First, orcs have absolutely no reason to eat elves. Most fantasy races do not appreciate eating sapient people, even if they are from another race and are at war. Unless it's a story about cooking.
Second, if orcs weren't such barbarians, they would have just romanced females of other races. If orcs are a one-gender race, there must be all-female races somewhere too. It's not like these orcs are particularly ugly - I'm sure they could be seen as cute if they were good guys.
Third, why do they even want to breed? Orcish life is brutish and short. No need to have children only for them to experience the same.

Except if that's a natural thing for their species, it makes sense.

They have some level of sentience, but they also have that as a natural nature. Elves and humans are both their mate AND their prey.

Like how lions hunt zebra and what not.

If anything, the fact that they are a freak race that has to mate with their prey is what's weird and makes little sense. But that seems to be a part of their natural nature.

So for them, it really is survival of the fittest. They are a race that can only mate with their prey... but they kill and eat their prey as well, because it's their prey.

And you are acting like breeding isn't the natural thing for species to do.

And while it seems orcs have some level of intelligence, they are also more animal like than humans... they seem to be a "human intelligence animal instinct" kinda creature...

That's why they have a point. Their natural nature is doing what they are doing.

It's not cannibalism. While they do need to mate with the other species females, the other species are their prey...

So it's closer to f***ing your food... sorta the opposite of cannibalism...

And they view other races as evil for hunting them, but they believe it's okay to harm other races because they are the predator... so for them, it's evil that their prey hunts them.

It's also evil that humans don't seem to fight by the rules of the wild that almost every other creature follows... so to them, humans are like cheaters... breaking the natural rules of the world.

But they ARE orcs... they are monsters.... they are not humans...

Their literally only way to breed is by attacking other species... and this isn't about modern society or legalism...

And you say that it's the opposite, but you wouldn't say a bear is evil for attacking humans... you'd just think it's a bear...
