This is so good. Like im so invested in this premise and the potential. It's always kind of stuck out how MC has dismissed the emotions directed at him and always seemed kind of self depreciating in a borderline depressive manner.

I feel like its so interesting and full of potential. Like as an audience we are presented with the premise that our MC sees this as the world of a romance story and so the tropes stick out and he has determined our FMC as the losing Heroine and someone he decides to root for, but for it to turn out this isn't the case. Like what has our MC gone through, is it possibly some sort of deep seeded trauma and he threw himself into romance media so strongly that he dissociated himself from this world and into a delusion where he is in this world and has such a low opinion of himself that it results in self destructive behaviour, and now we see as people start taking note and slowly form a support system for him.

I'd imagine that it's not that simple from a legal standpoint given that this manga is probably signed to be the IP of whatever publisher puts it out in a magazine/website/app/whatever. The author could probably be taken to court because they were already getting paid by the publisher and having a patreon or fanbox or whatnot without it just being to provide other, independent work could be viewed as trying to skirt that contract and agreement.

Aside from the issue of the mangaka getting paid or whatever, I have to say that my god people are dumb.

The #1 rule of pirated content is not to go around advertising that you have or are getting pirated content. Yes, Mangadex is making no effort to hide itself, but going right to the author and essentially shouting that you're getting their work for free through pirate channels is asking for trouble.

This is just like when other big scanlation sites get shut down and people go on twitter and publicly tweet out how happy they are to now be reading on another new, low-key site, complete with links to it.

This is why we can't have nice things.

I knew the camping event would play out differently from every other cliche anime plotline
This series might be based on cliches but they let the characters break out from their cliches and grow beyond it
Hopefully this series keeps breaking anime conventions so we wont suffer cliche anime protags stalling on their love confessions ever again
It's getting better and better by the chapter
Hopefully this series turns out to be something special when everything's said and done
Not one for animes as i used to be but hopefully this series gets one at some point
The more recognition this series gets the better
