Chinese/Japanese Idiom. Literally translates to black-stomach or black-hearted. Equivalent idiom in english would be "two-faced". Usually used for characters who are kind outside but cunning, scheming, or self-centered inside.

In Chinese romance contexts, usually a character who is publicly kind but likes teasing or bullying their love interest. Extreme examples go full yandere.

I did indeed misunderstand. usually calling something "trashy" with no given context to indicate that it's a "positive thing" means that the user is being derogatory in their statement.
