I have several ideas here. This might be useful for other languages, but since Japanese manga is the most popular...

[Disclaimer]->I don't know exactly how difficult it would be to translate a page or the entirety of a single manga. I imagine it varies... And then having the process of translating it explained might be a pain. That said... Idea time.

[ul]
Idea 1- Making a manga from scratch that teaches hiragana, katakana, and kanji as well as building a vocabulary.
Idea 2- Using existing manga that has already been translated and maybe reverse engineering it?
Idea 3- Starting a forum channel or section where people can share their knowledge of the language and contribute to people wanting to learn. If it was robust enough, maybe people could even most screenshots asking for explanations of what this thing on this page means? [/ul]

I personally would love a manga that explains and teaches you what each kanji character is and also explaining grammar, vocabulary, hiragana, and katakana. I know making that from scratch would be time consuming and require talent some people might not be willing to use when they are already working on another project. I hope that this suggestion is also formatted from the most effort needed to maybe the least effort needed. I also hope that one or more of these ideas are used. And finally, if these ideas are already implemented... Can someone point to me where? xD

there's a bunch good material out there to learn that shit, Like https://djtguide.neocities.org/guide.html#Kanji and i got some advice https://safe.yuri-project.net/res/6245.html#24564

also -1 about that, this is a manga platform not education.

These links could works for Idea3. Also, I appreciate it and thank you! I'll add them to my favorite bar.

As true as that might be at face value... That isn't necessarily true over all. Manga is a form of entertainment. Your can learn from it. You can also be entertained from learning. I see a potential for manga made for teaching both being entertaining as well as educational... However, recourse intensive. That alone might see the idea fall through.

Here's the problem, not that what i meant to be, you can get a knowledge but that's just a bit, like for example : Translator note.

Yes you can learn from it, but you need to learn hiragana and katakana (kanji is a must, if there's no furigana or u can use jisho ;) ) first, and read the manga not from scanlator team or you can say read the raw or maybe you can translate a manga and comparing it with the official one or from other scanlator.

or maybe you can make a manga based on education.

and once again, this is a manga platform.

Yeah, this would be a lot more work for the staff, and I doubt they ever had this in mind in the first place. Like pando said, this site is predominantly for reading and discussing manga.

The staff even made this to help get some scanlators started, which is already more than they had to do. (Yes, it's not translation specifically, but it's still 'educational'.)

Yeah, there's zero chance the MangaDex staff are going to devote any time towards this, especially with how many other higher priority suggestions/bugs/spambots require their attention.
At best, even if OP manages to cobble together a team of misfits (non-staff) to create this idea, resources like your idea already exist on the market.

For instance:

Thank you!

So Idea3 then? Than again, this is quite a bit of resources right here. https://japaneseclass.jp/ is something I came across from some of the folks I watch on Youtube who also have quite a bit of stuff.

Edit: It seems this suggestion has run its course.
