the universe reminds me of Motoka no shokudou, it has these large spaceships with everything and she's traveling after her husband dies with her son, essentially a chatting program. it's a computer screen with arms?? apparently the lady is quite good at repairing things and she's even called witch... i can't remember the plot of the episodes, sorry about that
