Just have to say, part of the premise is

that the demon lords dead wife told him to live a life without her. He falls in love with someone who looks exactly like her, so he's essentially still dependent on her and hasn't developed as a character at all despite the author trying his best to convince us. It feels like the demon lord only loves the human because she looks like his ex-wife, which I think is screwed up and really pisses me off that the author is trying to pass this off as a healthy thing.
