the villain successfully mind controls the gyaru, but the MC steals her back with the power of love. Apparently, the gyaru has some bloodline ability that nullifies the control or something like that. I don't remember. The only plus in this whole arc (it's more or less a "character arc") is that the gyaru's mom gets the hots for the MC.

It does bother me that the main characters keep forgetting that everyone under Ibiza is under some form of mind control, and nothing they say is completely how they feel but rather twisted by Ibiza to benefit him.

I do think that they express their deepest thoughts though, but it's still twisted to come out the wrong way because Ibiza benefits from everyone backstabbing each other.

That being said, I don't think it's possible for them to save anyone who gets sent to Hell after being released from Ibiza's control (at least right now).

Because they are DEMONS so yes, that is entirely natural or did the "demons are just humans with slight differences" have overridden what used to be the definition of a Demon?

People seem to have forgotten that, this is when there is a return like in Frieren were it gone back to watch a Demon was its refreshing instead of "human but with horns", even in this series they do remind they are demons and this is why, Yuuto being human serves as highlight the differences, nothing he is doing is considered among their society to be wrong.
