I have a full-on needle phobia; I can't even see them on TV. Seeing them drawn in artwork really bugs me too. This made dialysis all kinds of Interesting.

This is a real conversation that really happened:

Nurse: "We think you're going to faint, so we're going to put you on oxygen."
Suzuran: "No! Let me faint, then stick me while I'm out!" (Now all I need is a way to faint on cue each time!)
Nurse: "We can't let you faint."

Somehow I survived.

I'll admit I have a bit of needle phobia myself.

And it started when I was in elementary, and I had this birthmark on my stomach I needed to remove to not have it bleeding every so often (had happened twice, but those were not so long ago). So I went to have it done, and then the nurse takes out this 10-15 cm long syringe needle with anesthetic and you can be pretty sure those things hurt when slowly put into you. The removal itself was with laser, not so bad, but after that needles have always been avoided if possible by me. Going through with it is easier though if i'm distracted while getting vaccinations, which happened when I was getting a variety of vaccinations at one time, and I had this paper showing which I had and was trying to convince those nurses I don't need more when they just rolled up my sleeves and stuck two needles into my shoulders, one on each side.

@kwendy I was thinking the same thing. Talking princess is both a welcome change but weird-ish at the same time.

Whoa the princess actually shouted at the end there.

One time during middle school when we had vaccinations, we had a really old lady giving us the vaccinations, and when it was my turn I instantly got a bad feeling about it, but I decided to trust the old lady because this was her job and all, and I was far from the first person in the class to get the injection. Turns out my bad gut feeling were right. Her hand slipped and when I turned to look at my arm, the syringe was just hanging there. Quite the traumatising sight.

That said, I didn't develop any phobias towards syringes. However, I DO distrust old people to handle delicate work like that now.

A Princess/Poseidon chapter? I'm so okay with this! (yeah, I ship it, leave me alone)

And I'm in the "Needles are scary" team, but vaccines is important and you should still do it even if you're afraid!

And damn, it's a bit strange to see the princess talk so much (and have actual discussion), yell and cooperate. All of that in one chapter!

Haha that was a really unusual pairing XD
And as usual, the princess is the cause of it all

Isn't it always the princess's fault? XD
I don't really have a problem with injections myself, but don't ask me to be the one to do it to someone else, brrr!
