Really preferred Nell in her old role rather than as a love interest. I dont dislike her but kinda feels forced even this far down the line with it.
I can understand preferring her in her old Role but as a habit rereader my impression was that they hinted at it very early and there where many chapters between the MC getting best Girl and her actually confessing. Considering this "is" a Harem manga my impression is that they actually trying to avoid making it seem rushed or forced. But as a result we get "a lot" chapters dedicated to this.
...except Wolf Girl. That was totally rushed.

Remember when MCs had interesting hairstyles instead of all looking like this?

Get that it was hinted at pretty early on into her introduction, but IMO the whole harem side of this manga feels... unneccessary? Purely my opinion, but genuinenly feels like the series would arguably be stronger if it stuck to 1 love interest.

I dont dislike harem series by any means, but when one girl is, ngl, by far "in the lead", it feels like the other girls are more just decoration? like they could fulfill their exact same purposes in the story without being a love interest.

I agree with the fact it feels unnecessary, especially at this point in the story, because for Yuki, it is unnecessary. And because Yuki is our PoV character, we're shown things from his side more than any other.

The author makes it so the other characters want the harem, and if you think about things from their point of view, I would argue it starts to make a whole lot more sense.

But, feel free to disagree or whatever. That's only how I see things.

Actually that is what I meant. Cute Dragon Girl was most of the Focus early so as to not make it seem like Nell is just an "extra" they now dedicated a lot of time to her. They are specifically trying to avoid that. It's handled comes at the cost of Best Girl screentime but if I think about it Lefi would pretty much solve any problem just by existing so I can see why they try to avoid it.
It "is" quite unusual for a Harem though as usually Harem Manga's have multiple members in the first 10-20 Chapters but here they actually take time building it up. I admit I actually appreciate it. Though it's also something that was done better in other manga's to be fair.
...and I do agree that the Manga would have also worked well without the Harem bit but in the end it's what we got and I can at least appreciate an attempt at "making it work" instead of just adding a Girl for the Trope's sake.
