Last two chapter parts seem odd disjointed. Especially Nell's bomb at the end.

For a moment there on the first panel, I thought Lefi was standing on the fishing rod.

When you do the side quests and get attached to cool characters only for the main quest to kill them off

...aaand the ugly problem affecting 90% of fantasy mangas rears its head once again: the supposed plot is completely irrelevant because manga authors don't understand the concept of "not making MC and/or his party ridiculously overpowered".
And no, his morals and relative pacifism do not solve this in the slightest.

Oh the ambitious, evil prince took control of the kingdom?
Visit them with your literal ARMY OF DRAGONS LEAD BY THE LEGENDARY SUPREME ONE + DEMON LORD and simply announce in the middle of the capital "Be civil and don't enter our forest without permission and we will play nice. Anyone hostile will receive a draconic napalm-bombing from the skies".

End of the plot and the MC can go back grilling fish for eternity, since either the population stop any stupid action of their leaders or you gave fair warning and now even with your morals you can pulverize anyone coming your way since it is self-defence.

@Espadas it works when you go the One Punch Man or Mob Psycho 100 route where the MC's OPness is the cause of the main conflict or irrelevant to it. But yeah for the most part you're right.

@reshfan

It's the sensibility of a Japanese soyboy and the pride and patience of an eternal dragon god meshing up in the worst possible way.

@Espadas I'd say you're mostly right but this one is a bit different, at least to me, because,
He has to hold back in this series because of the hero. He loves the hero and cares about her, so he can't do anything that could jeopardise their image especially because the hero still wants to live as the hero of humanity, and they will be a known couple later on.

@ChocoMacchia While i understand your point, he can easily makes the Hero look even better.
Just throw in something like "We met the Hero and she convinced us that we can coexist without us destroying you all on sight...."

To be honest i don't think the Hero's image would be affected in this situation either way.
Powerful Hero or not, anyone not fanatically braindead would realize that she has literally no chance of winning against an army of FLYING mythical beasts she can't even reach.

They could amass the armies and heroes of the entire world and it wouldn't do a damn since either:
1) they have someone that can actually fly (wizards?) = congrats, you are now in a dragon's home element, i'm sure it will end well for you
2) they don't have someone that can fly = carpet bombing from high up and bye bye everyone

This is something that really annoy me. Manga authors don't realize that even "basic" abilities like "flying" can be monstrously powerful based on the setting.

This seems to be the typical fantasy medieval setting so any being that can fire ranged attacks WHILE FLYING automatically becomes almost unbeatable simply because they have no means to REACH it.
And if that being is a an army of magical dragons.....

@Espadas That's true, the only ones that have been shown to have the ability to fly are the dragons and possibly demons.
Although in this case, he's not the 'OP' one in the series as shown that he has a lot of trouble fighting the dragon from before (had to resort to regen and trap), Lefi definitely is.
I categorise this series as one of those 'feel good' series which is meant to be taken lightheartedly. More intensity will destroy the relaxed atmosphere, while it doesn't make a good story, it does make it an enjoyable read for a tired mind, something similar to kuma kuma.

Your comment also reminds me of that Japan Isekai where the JSDF literally wipes the floor with the isekai army. Rocket launchers? Jet plans? Tanks? Boom. Armies gone.
